| I love Robert - Bit - Carroway ever since Lessons in Love #1. Bit itu misterius, terluka, peka, dan.. cool. He's damaged, wounded.. tapi saya suka sejak di buku pertama karena kehadirannya menonjol banget. Trus waktu tahu kalau di buku ke-3 dia jadi tokoh utamanya, jelas saya jadi subyektif duluan dong ya.. ..and I'm not disapointed. Saya suka Bit disini. Sesuai ekspektasi awal. Emang sulit buat Bit utk normal kembali setelah you-know-what dan saya dibuat penasaran tiap lembarnya, apa sih yang bikin Bit trauma? Memang sih dari sikap Bit selama ini saya sudah sedikit banyak bisa membayangkan apa yang terjadi.. dan setelah tahu gambaran keseluruhan, baru deh bisa maklum kenapa Bit behaved that way. Too bad di sini Lucinda yang praktikal dan punya jawaban atas segalanya malah terlihat cengeng dan sering mewek disini. Oh, dia masih logis dan pragmatis tapi banyak kesan cengeng dan mudah terharu yang ditunjukkan disini lebih mendominasi dan saya kecewa karena berharap Lucinda lebih oke dari ini. Meskipun bisa dimaklumi kenapa Lucinda sering mewek mungkin buat menunjukkan sisi sensitif cewek supaya bisa simpati sama Bit, but Enoch put too much jadi si Luce agak mirip-mirip Evie (Lesson in Love #2) jadinya. Satu lagi yang bikin saya suka buku ini adalah The Carroways! A lot of Carroways got a big portions. Cute little Edward, Andrew and Shaw, witty couple Dare and Georgiana, but w/o the aunties. Ribut banget sih emang di rumah Carroway but They're loyal and really love Robert to the core. Bahkan misterinya pun menarik karena si Bit dijebak dan bakal dipenjarakan sekali lagi, and we don't want that happens for sure. Jadi disini Bit harus berjuang untuk menyelamatkan diri selain harus ngikuti Lesson in Love-nya Lucinda. Walaupun mudah ketebak siapa penjahatnya tapi saya tetap ngerasa fun bacanya. |
